Margaret Mary (nee Bidgood) Gosling, was blessed to have peacefully passed away at home on Saturday, November 26, 2016. She was surrounded by the same love and compassion that she has always shown others. Margaret lived her 90 years by the golden rule, caring for everyone before herself. She had an unwavering commitment to her family, friends, and faith. Her lifetime was dedicated and devoted to service, ensuring everyone's needs were met, often through her various baked goods. Her generosity was only matched by her zest and love for life. Once everybody else had been cared for, she was the first to have a dance, enjoy a game of cards, or have a cup of tea with friends. Her presence always accompanied by her warm smile and embrace. Margaret leaves behind her husband of 58 years, Austin, and their children Deborah Ann (Roger), Lynn Marie (Dan), Paul (Tacey), and Keith. Her spirit and love will be carried forward through the generations as she had special relationships with each of her grandchildren Jonathan (Stephanie), Matthew, Adam, Taija and Noah, as well as her two great-grandchildren Emma and Levi. Throughout the years, Margaret has been surrounded and cared for by wonderful friends, who have truly become a part of her family, especially Sharon, Johnny, Clara and Bill. Margaret's legacy of caring, compassion and strong faith will no doubt continue through the lives of others. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Gathering Place. Visitation hours will be held a Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road, on Sunday November 27 from 3-8 pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 29 at 9:30 am at Corpus Christi Church, Waterford Bridge Road.
