WINTERS, Lyndall H. - passed away peacefully in Ottawa on the 11th of November, 2016 at the age of 88. He was a 36-year veteran of the R.C.M.P., retiring with the rank of Superintendent. He was born in Yarmouth on the 25th of August, 1928, the son of the late Lyndall H. Winters and Vera (Doane) Winters. He was educated in the Yarmouth school system. Lyn is survived by his daughter, Ellyn (James) Robinson, Cambridge, Ontario, son, Gregory (Sandra) Winters, Kanata, Ontario, grandchildren Graeme and Cameron Anne Robinson, sister Joyce C. Rogers, Raynardon, Yarmouth Co., N.S., sister-in-law, Louise Wilson, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Lyn was predeceased by his parents, brother, Victor (Patricia) Winters, sisters, Hilda (Walter) Clive, and Elsie (Walter) Sears. Interment took place at the R.C.M.P. National Memorial Cemetery, Beechwood Cemetery, Ottawa, Ontario December 3, 2016.
