Died peacefully on Sunday, November 27, 2016, in the arms of his loving family, Melvin Edward Tilley, age 78 years, of Torbay, NL, as a result of an accidental fall. Predeceased by eldest son Craig Tilley (Ocean Ranger disaster). Leaving to mourn his loving wife Judy Tilley, daughter Barbie (Brendan Cadigan), son Shannon Tilley (Jennifer Ireland), grandchildren Evan Strange (his father Lew Strange), Ryan and Shaye Tilley, mother-in-law June Noseworthy, sisters and brothers-in-law Kathy and Frank Howse, Sandy and Joe Kavanagh, Bill and Doug Noseworthy and their families. Also Bill and Brenda Coaker and the extended Coaker family. Sisters and brothers Barbara, David, Louise and special cousin Olga Martin and their families. Also leaving to mourn a large circle of long time friends and also their special neighbors from Karon Drive. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Tuesday, November 29th from 12-9 pm and Wednesday 10 am -12 pm.
