Passed peacefully at home on Sunday, November 27, 2016, John Handrahan of Charlottetown, age 89 years. Beloved husband of the late Mary Handrahan and loving father of Jean, Edward (Carol Bulger), Brenda, Francis, John, and Marlene. John will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren - Samantha Kelley, Kim Bulger, Matthew Handrahan and Michael Handrahan; great granddaughter - Grace Bulger and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents - George and Celina (nee Poirier) Handrahan and his brother – Alyre (Allie) Handrahan. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home. There will be no visitation as per request. A private family service will be held at Stratford Chapel - Hillsboro Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery.
