passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family, at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 in her 85th year. Jean is predeceased by her parent's John and Violet McBay. Jean leaves with loving memories her devoted husband of 33 years, Frank; children, John Blackburn (Brent, Megan, Ryan and Chad), David Blackburn (Tammy, Haley and Alana) and Dawn (Brian) Harter; step children, Karl, Keith and Janet McGrath; sister, Viola Chenoweth (Rick, Debbie and Lisa) and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, Thursday, December 1st, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral services will be held at St. Thomas Church on Friday, December 2nd, 2016 at 2pm with internment at Kenmount Road Anglican Cemetery.
