It is with fond memories and heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our husband, father, brother and friend, Wade Gibson. His time to go to a better place came on Monday, November 28th, 2016 at the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital with his family by his side. He will now be reunited with his parents, Clarence and Emily; brother, Rick; special uncle, Lawrence; father-in-law, George Scheveck; brother-in-law, Kevin Walsh; and other aunts, uncles, and close friends. Wade’s uncanny humor and positive outlook on life will be sadly missed by all that knew him. Wade was born to Clarence and Emily in Moose Jaw, SK on September 21st 1955. He grew up in Crane Valley, SK and Moose Jaw with his siblings: Ryan (Pat Toombs), Rick, and Sherri (Gerry Gallant). Wade met his wife Donna Scheveck in high school and they were married for 40 years. They had two children, Tyler (Mary Jean Bayben) and Samantha (Ryan Couture). Wade and Donna established Wade’s Plumbing and Heating shortly after Wade finished his plumbing apprenticeship. Over the years Wade enjoyed helping many people, and many of his customers and co-workers became close friends. Wade enjoyed spending time with his family, travelling, playing hockey with the Crusty Canucks, and golfing with his buddies (to whom he stated that he mastered the game and no longer needed to keep score). A special thanks to Dr. Stushnoff, Dr. Henley and the nursing staff for their compassionate care. A Celebration of Wade’s Life will be held on Saturday, December 3rd, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Sportsman Center, 276 Home St E, Moose Jaw, SK.
