Peacefully at the Kings County Memorial Hospital the passing of Michael J. MacCormack age 93 of Montague occurred on Sunday December 4, 2016 with his beloved wife Mae (MacPhee) MacCormack of 71 years by his side. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the army. Michael is survived by his loving children Gregory (Anna) MacCormack and Gail (Ernie) Butler; cherished grandchildren Lisa (Tom) and Marie; adored great grandchildren Seamus, Ben and Charlie; one brother Victor MacCormack (Evelyn). He was predeceased by a son Daniel; sisters Mary Riorden and Catherine O’Rielly; brother Joseph. By family request no visiting hours at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial to take place on Tuesday 10 a.m., December 6 from St Mary’s Catholic Church Montague. Interment to take place in St. George’s Cemetery.
