Raymond Garfield Rumbolt

It is with tremendous sorrow, and utter devastation, that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband and father, Raymond Garfield Rumbolt in his 69th year at his residence in Reidville, NL. He is survived by the love of his life, Joyce, their beloved children Helen (Jon), and Ruth (Matthew), and their two precious grandsons, Micah and Logan. Also left to mourn with fond and loving memories, his mother Elizabeth, siblings Eric (Marg), Winnie (Phil), Linda, Terry (Martha), Tony (Donna), Gloria (John), Mazie, Betty (Gary) and Brenda (Gary), sisters-in-law and brother-in-law: Margaret (David), Jessie, Phyllis (Kevin), Marilyn (Jan), and Angus (Wavey) as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and dear friends. He is predeceased by his father Garfield, father-in-law and mother-in-law Clifford and Miriam Osmond, brother Ralph, nieces Rhonda and Tracey, nephews Robert and Joey, and brother-in-law, Harry. Raymond always said "you've got to do what you've got to do" and "if you're going to do a job you may as well do it the best you can", so we will do our best to apply these outlooks to our life without him, knowing that we will meet again someday. Visitation will take place from Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel, 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, Wednesday from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral service will take place on Thursday, December 8th, 2016 from St. Pauls United Church at 2:00pm. with Rev. Myles Vardy officiating. Interment to follow at the family plot on Wight's Road.
