New Glasgow - Virginia Grant (Buck) Garrett of New Glasgow died in a motor vehicle accident, Wednesday, December 7th.
She was born August 13th, 1931 on Irish Mountain, Pictou County.
She was predeceased by her parents, William David Buck, Jr. and Margaret Fraser (Cameron) Buck.
She is survived by her husband, Cameron Garrett; brother, Dale; daughter, Susan Colyer; sons, Kim Garrett (Marion Mertens) and David Garrett; grandchildren, Damien Garrett, Daniel Garrett, Madeleine Colyer (Eryk St.-Amant), Claire Colyer (Mike Bullock).
Her family thank, especially, Trinity United Church, her family in Christ, who supported her in love, by prayer and action, driving her to dialysis in Truro three times a week over the last year in fair weather and foul. Her family also wish to thank the staff of the Dialysis Clinic of the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro and the Nephrology Clinic of the QEII Hospital, Halifax. Funeral, Tuesday, December 13th, 2 pm, Trinity United Church, New Glasgow.
