GORVEATT, Lester Grant, age 58 of Fredericton, NB, formerly of Truro, passed away peacefully December 9, 2016 in the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton, NB, with his family by his side. Born in Truro, he was a son of Douglas Gorveatt and the late Meldon Bartlett.

Lester graduated from the Atlantic Computer Institute in Halifax and he continually upgraded his knowledge and skills over the course of his career. He was a network technical architect, well respected in his field and worked as an independent consultant, employed in both the public and private sector.

He will be sadly missed by his lifelong friend and wife Kathy (Crowell), daughter Chelsey, son Jarrett, grandsons Tyson and Logan, granddaughter Brooklyn, father, Douglas and siblings Steven, David and Joanne.

A Celebration of Life will be held 2pm Wednesday December 14, 2016 (live stream of the beginning at 1:55pm AST) in the Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie, Rev. Martin Reid officiating. A reception will follow in the funeral home hospitality area. A committal service will be held in Brookside Cemetery in the spring. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
