It is with broken hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of Harlan Forrest Adamson, age 66, of Acadia Avenue, Stellarton, on Monday December 12, 2016 in the Palliative Care Unit of Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
He was the son of Forrest Adamson of Westville Road, and the late Isabel (Clark) Adamson. Harlan leaves behind to mourn him, his loving daughters, Jacqueline (Mark), Lyons Brook; Tammy (Hal), Pictou; sisters, Elizabeth (Douglas), Manitoba; Norma (Sandy), Scotsburn; grandchildren, Austin, Dylan, Marcy & Richard; niece, Bella and nephew, Spencer. He also leaves behind many loyal friends from the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 28, Stellarton, and special friend, Wanda Harris.
Harlan was a respected meat cutter in Pictou County. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and friendship with great stories.
At his request, cremation has taken place. Friends and family are welcome to attend a memorial gathering at the home of Jacqueline and Mark MacCallum, 34 Riverview Dr., Lyons Brook, from 3-5 PM on Thursday, December 15th.
Donations in his memory may be made to the Aberdeen Palliative Care Inpatient Unit, the Foodbank, the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 28, or a charity of your choice.
