ROSZELL: Pansie Mary age 79 of Swift Current, SK passed away on December 13, 2016. The funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 17, 2016 from First United Church with Reverend Annette Taylor officiating. The organist was Patti McCleary, the eulogy was read by Sheena Roszell, Shantel Blanke and Trevor Roszell, ushers were David Letnes, Glen Letnes, Niel Roszell and Dennis Roszell, and pallbearers were her grandsons Trevor Roszell and Bart Blanke, and nephews Kevin Roszell, Trevor Roszell, Scott Roszell and Randy Roszell. The interment service took place from Memory Gardens Cemetery, Swift Current. Pansie is survived by her husband Russ; son Tim (Shelly) and their children Sheena, Shantel (Bart) and Trevor; Shantel and Bart's daughter Sadie; and daughter Cindy (Paul). She is predeceased by her parents William Charles Myers and Mary Elizabeth Nichols; mother-in-law Edith Irene Hilmar and father-in-law William James Roszell; and numerous special siblings, relatives and friends. Pansie attended Maxstone School # 2436 and on June 26, 1954 she married Russ Roszell in the Baptist Church in Congress, SK. She worked at Harry's IGA as a meat cutter and wrapper. Pansie had many hobbies including crocheting, crafting, gardening, camping, fishing and shopping. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great granddaughter. She was a wonderful Mom, Grandma, and cook. She was a very kind and caring person. In 1992, Pansie was diagnosed with Leukemia. This past summer they found the cancer had spread. She didn't want to feel any worse so she refused further treatment. She passed way peacefully in her home.
