Passed peacefully away in the presence of her family at St. Patrick's Mercy Home on Monday, December 19, 2016. Predeceased by her granddaughter Lesley Rowe (2012), daughter-in-law Maxine Batten (2003). Leaving to mourn with loving memories, her husband of 64 years Leslie, daughter: Linda (Gerry Williams), sons: Melvin (Irene), David (Lucy Saunders), grandchildren: Neal Rowe, Renee, Michael, Melanie and Melissa Batten, brother Ken Barrett, brother-in-law Robert Batten and special friend Ivan Rowe. Stella will be missed by her friends at Worsley Park who she enjoyed spending time with. Thanks to all of the staff and doctors at 1 south A for their compassion to our mother. We will never forget you. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Monday, 7 - 9 pm, Tuesday, 2 - 4 pm and 7 - 9 pm. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at 11 am from All Saints Anglican Church, Foxtrap. Cremation to follow with burial at a later date.
