Doris Merle Worth, formerly of Pownal (age 99 years) passed peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on December 17, 2016. Beloved wife of the late John Worth and loving mother of Gordon, Peter (Nancy), Gary (Helen) and Wendy Worth. Doris will be lovingly remembered by 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and son-in-law Clarence Ryan. She was predeceased by her daughter Deborah Ryan and her parents Thomas and Merle (nee Bradshaw) Jones of Moncton, New Brunswick. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home. There will be no visitation as per personal request. Funeral service will be held at St. Andrew’s United Church, Vernon Bridge on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at 2 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the St. Andrew’s Church would be appreciated.
