New Glasgow - Thomas H. (Jackson) Izzard, age 72, of New Glasgow, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2016 in Barrie, Ontario. Born in New Glasgow on October 24, 1944, he was a son of the late Carrie Jackson and James Izzard Sr. He is survived by sisters: Annabelle, Ida (Neil), Carolyn (Carl), Toronto; Barbara (David), New Glasgow; brother, Willis (Stephanie), Dartmouth. He was predeceased by sisters: Mary, Josephine, Bessie Ann, Frances and Mildred; brothers, Freddy and Leslie. Visitation 2-4 and 7-9 pm, Tuesday, December 27, in the R.H. Porter Funeral Home, 55 Almont Ave., New Glasgow, from where funeral service will be held at 1 pm Wednesday, December 28. A graveside service will be held at a later date.
