Passed peacefully away at Pleasant View Towers, St. John's on Thursday, December 22, 2016, Dorothy Vardy of Clarenville, in her 91st year. Predeceased by son-in-law Kenneth Ross, sisters Hilda and Viney; brothers Harold, Clarence, Hezekiah, Theodore and Donald. Left with fond and loving memories, Roy of 68 years; daughter Dianne; son William (Nadine); grandchildren Grant (Sonya), Danielle (Duane), Shannon (Caya), Stephen (Megan); great-grandchildren Olivia, Maelyn, Maddie, Jackson, Mateo, Drew and Ethan; sister Helen; and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Fewer's Funeral Home, Clarenville on Monday, December 26, from 11 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Funeral service will take place at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, December 26, 2016 at Fewer's Memorial Chapel, Clarenville with interment to follow at the United Church Cemetery, Church Hill, Clarenville.
