Mary V. LeDrew
With sadness, we, the family of Mary V. LeDrew, regret to announce her passing on Monday, January 2, 2017, at Harbourstone Enhanced Care, Sydney. Born April 13, 1931, in Sydney, she was a daughter of the late William and Ruth (Menzies) MacPherson. Mary is survived by her children, Cyril Alexander “Sandy” (Madeleine) Gale, Joanne (Terry) Nearing, Jean (John) Green, Dorothy LeDrew and Donnie (Pam) LeDrew; brothers, Hughie and Alan; grandchildren, Karen, Stephen, Annik, Wendy, Terri Dawn, Candace, John, David, Amy and Anthony; great-grandchildren, Dylan, Maxime, Alex, Josh, Morgan, Jordan, Callie, Reagan, Cohen, Jeff, Jessica, Josh, Jillian, Matthew, Brooke and Jessa.
She was predeceased by her husband, Everett LeDrew; sister, Mona Mollon and a sister in infancy; brothers, William, Jackie, Cecil and Donnie. There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at Sydney Memorial Chapel on Friday, January 6 at 11 a.m., with Rev. Andrew O`Neill (her grandnephew) officiating. Interment in Hardwood Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the VON Day Program.
