It is with great sadness that the family of the late Margaret Callahan announce her passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at the age of 70 years. She leaves to mourn her best friend and the love of her life, Gerve Callahan; daughter Genny (Bill); son Joe (Keith); very special granddaughter Samantha (Andrew); sisters Kathy (Clarence) and Marion; as well as her brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Gordon and Marion House; brother Austin; parents-in-law John and Agnes Callahan. In keeping with Margaret's wishes cremation has taken place. There will be no formal funeral service. Interment will take place at a later date. Thank you to the nurses and doctors at the Palliative Care Unit and to her home care worker Betty Humphries. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the charity of one's choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Country Haven Funeral Home, Corner Brook.
