The death occurred, unexpectedly, at the Kings CountyMemorial Hospital on January 1, 2017 of Donald (Don) RutledgeWheelerfrom "Hearts Haven", Belle River. Age 86. Lovingly remembered by wife Betty; daughters Linda (Mason) Grant, Lyanne (Bill) Slavin, Charlene (John) Bennett, Debbie (John)Malcolm; eight grandchildrenand four great grandchildren. Survived by brothers Bob and KenWheeler. Cremation to take place. A memorial service will be held from the Southern Kings & Queens Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, January 6, 2017 at 2 p.m. This celebration of life will be followed by a reception and a time of visiting for all friends and family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Don's memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of PEI, Red Cross or St. John's Presbyterian Church.
