Veronica (ViVi) Scott, Baddeck, NS, passed away at the Victoria County Memorial Hospital, Saturday, January 7, 2017 in her 84 year. She was the daughter of the late Teresa and Kalman Varga. She was a member of the Catholic Women's league, St. Kevin's Church in Ontario and a devote member of St. Michaels Catholic Church in Baddeck, NS. She is survived by her daughter, Terri Spinney (Bruce), Baddeck; sons, Thomas Scott (Melissa), Nanaimo, B.C. and Mark (Karen), Victoria, B.C., and brother, Zoli Varga, Port Colborne, ON. Loving friend and companion of Walter Whitty, Baddeck, NS. Beloved grandmother to, Ashley Spinney (Joe Young), Aaron Spinney and Noah Scott. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Edward Gordon Scott and sister, Teresa Fenton. Cremation has taken place. Celebration of Veronica's life will be held at St. Michaels Catholic Church, Baddeck, Thursday, January 12th at 2 p.m. with Father Paul Abbass and Walter Ivany officiating.
Burial will be at a later date in Welland, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Diabetes Association or the CNIB would be appreciated by the family.
