Emily Cope MacLean – 55, Millbrook, died suddenly January 9, 2017 in QEII VG Site, Halifax. Born March 18, 1961, she was the daughter of Marlene (Michael Googoo) and the late Arthur Cope. Emily lived in West Palm Beach, Florida for the past 30 years and most recently moved back to Millbrook in August. Besides her mother, Emily is survived by sons, Donald MacLean (Melissa Gloade), Edward Knight; granddaughter, Kylene Gloade; brothers, Alexander Cope (Nicole Williams), Arthur Kennedy (Darlene Arseneau); sisters, Darlene Cope, Debbie Cope; God Mother, Matilda Bernard and friend, Anne Margaret Fiddes; several nieces and nephews. Besides her father, Arthur, Emily was predeceased by uncle, Raymond Cope; niece, Sara Cope. Emily is resting in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro with visitation on Thursday, January 12 from 7-9pm only. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 13 at 3pm in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Millbrook, Father Jim O’Connor, officiating.
