Charles Edmund Thorne, passed away suddenly in Edmonton on January 7, 2017, at the age of 62. Predeceased by his father, Edmund, brother Baby John, and niece Melissa Thorne. Left with loving memories: mother Minnie Thorne, brothers and sisters Bruce (Phyllis), Bob (Roberta), David (Doreen), Elizabeth Briant (Brad), Wilfred (Vicki), and Rosemary (Osvaldo), numerous nephews and nieces, and large circle of extended family and friends in Newfoundland and Alberta, including special friends Tracey Doyle, Jim Adams, and godson Dylan Fry, Cathy Morton, and Terry and Suzanne Picco in Edmonton. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at Faith United Church, Thornlea, NL on Friday, Jan. 20th from 2 – 4 pm and 7 – 9 pm. Funeral at Faith United Church, Thornlea, on Sat., Jan 21st, 2017 at 2 pm, with inurnment to follow. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
