Passed peacefully away on January 14, 2017 in the presence of his loving family, Patrick "Paddy" Hickey of Outer Cove aged 94 years. Predeceased by his wife Elizabeth "Agnes" (nee Tapper) November 3, 2015; his parents Thomas and Mary Hickey; his sisters: Katherine Kutella, Helen Dickson and Mary Dziedzic; his brothers: James, Mike and Nicholas Hickey; his sisters-in-law: Sade Tapper and Marie Hedegard; brothers-in-law: Frank, James, Mike and John Tapper. Leaving to mourn his sons: Wayne (Judy) and Glenn (Joanne); his daughter Marilyn Coady (John); his precious grandchildren: Sabrina, Dylan, Saraya, Kala, Taylor and Kendra; his brother Tom (Mary); sisters-in-law: Ethel and Kay Tapper and Bride Hickey; special niece Helen Gosse and many other nieces, nephews and a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, Torbay on Monday from 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass celebrating his long and happy life to take place on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. from St. Francis of Assisi Church, Outer Cove. Interment to follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to the St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery Fund.
