The death occurred peacefully with family by her side at the Garden Home, Charlottetown, on Friday, January 13, 2016, of Alice Doucette, of Rustico, aged 95. Alice was the beloved wife of the late Raymond Doucette; and loving mother of Yvette, deceased, (Ralph), Leona (Nigel Smart), Carmelle, Eric, Pius (Hazel), Bernie, Roy (Louise) and Rene (Lori). She was the loving grandmother of Kim (Jeff MacDonald), Jeffery, deceased, Jonathan, Kristen, Jason (Jennifer), Wendy (Dave Crosby), Adam (Beth), Mark, Ryan, Brittany, Dylan, Cassie and Maddy; and great-grandmother of Sarah, Owen, Kristen, Brayden, Emma, Tyler, Sydney and Warren. She is also survived by her brothers, John Pineau (Inez) and Alyre Pineau (Marion, deceased); and sister, Bernadette (Mario Cernavez); and numerous nieces and nephews. Alice was predeceased by her parents, Felix and Julie Anne (Gallant) Pineau; and her brothers and sisters, George (Val, Mary), Rita (Albert), Simonne, Adrien (Flora), Eric (Rose), Gerard (Georgie) and Alphonse (Pat). Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, 2538 Glasgow Road, New Glasgow, for visitation on Monday, January 16, 2017, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Augustine’s Roman Catholic Church, Rustico, on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the Church Cemetery.
