Passed peacefully away, surrounded by her loving family, on January 14, 2017, in her 90th year. Regina was a lady of great faith which she demonstrated in her daily life. She was first and foremost a loving mother and doting grandmother, a successful business woman as owner of Mullaley's Chicken Bar, and a volunteer of various clubs and organizations in Freshwater, Placentia Bay. Predeceased by her loving husband of 64 years, Stephen Mullaley; parents Mary and Ignatius Brennan; precious daughter Sharon Canning; and grandson Stephen Burke. Leaving to mourn her children Bernadette (Wayne Burke), Fintan (Yvonne), Brendan (Leah), Elizabeth (Raymond Organ), Terry, Geraldine (Ernie Kelly), Marie (Paul Popelar), Mike (Darlene), Donna (Jeff Davis), Joe, Anne and son-in-law Adrian Canning; as well as 22 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Also leaving to mourn her sisters Marie Chafe (Fred), Carmel Doody (Leo - deceased) and sister-in-law Mary Connors (Patrick - deceased). Also a large number of nieces, nephews and friends. She will also be missed by her fellow senior club members and her many bingo buddies in the Placentia area. Resting at Maher's Funeral Home, Placentia. Visitation on Sunday, January 15 from 7-9 p.m., and Monday, January 16 from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass 11 am on Tuesday, January 17 at Holy Rosary Church, Freshwater.
