Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family at Dr. Albert O’Mahony Manor, Clarenville on Sunday, January 15, 2017, Iris Skiffington of Musgravetown, aged 84 years. Predeceased by her husband Frank; son Maurice; daughter Doris; grandson Christopher; parents Basil and Annie Holloway; brothers Calvin, Watson and Roland. Left with fond and loving memories her children Gertie, Frances (Chris), Sylvia (Earl), Daphne (Rick) and Calvin; grandchildren Sonja (Bruce), Matthew, Angela (Jimmy), Vicki (Sean), Melissa, Cory and Candace (Joe); great grandchildren Jillian, Christopher, Hunter, Jenny, Amber, Chloe, Aiden, Adam and Ayra; great great grandson Mason; sister Geneva; brothers Hiram (Ruth) and Morley (Colleen); and a large circle of family and friends. Rested at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Lethbridge. Funeral service took place on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at Heritage United Church, Musgravetown with interment at United Cemetery, Musgravetown. In her memory donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
