After retirement mom continued to volunteer at Sunset Haven for many years as well as the Museum of Industry. When mom was 57 she got her driver's license and bought her 1st brand new car, which she was so proud of!
Mom was a proud woman, full of strength, courage and determination. Mom had a strong work ethic, was always dressed to the 9s and had the best hairdo in town! Mom had a zest for life and loved to be on the go, driving her car, walking the Sampson Trail or Melmerby Beach. She was a beautiful skater and dancer. Mom loved a good game of cards and Scrabble. We will cherish all the card and Scrabble games with mom and her wonderful friend Lee.
