It is with great sadness the family of Greta Brinston of Creston North announces her passing on January 10, 2017 at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center at the age of 81 years.
Leaving to mourn sons Ash Brinston of Creston North, Melvin Brinston (Elaine) of Alberta, Darrell (Heather) of Alberta and Fabian Strong (Elaine) of Burin Bay Arm; daughter Beverly King (Wince) of Black Duck Cove; 5 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sister Nora Clarke; brothers Gordon Bugden and Curtis Hiscock; special friend Joan Power plus a large circle of other family and friends.
Predeceased by husband Angus Brinston and daughter Millicent Brinston; sisters Edna Brinston and Irene Parsons.
In keeping with Greta's wishes cremation has taken place.
Father Clem Flaherty officiated Funeral Service from Serenity Chapel, Burin Monday, January 16th, 2017 with inurnment following at a later date.
