Donald Chesley Crossman
The death occurred suddenly at Western Hospital, Alberton, on Thursday, January 19, 2017 of Donald Chesley Crossman of Cape Wolfe, aged 79 years, dear husband to Irma (nee MacWilliams). Born on January 26, 1937 in Cape Wolfe, son of the late Lloyd & Margaret (Currie) Crossman. Loving father to Ashley (Arlene) , Burton, N.B; Allan (Linda), Chelton; Ann (Jim) Cook, Springfield West; Tammy (Jamie) Bernard, Wellington and Travis (Rachel), West Cape. Beloved grandfather to Becky, Joshua, Kelsey, Nicholas, Tyler, Jessica, Fraser, Paige and Walker. Donald is also survived by sisters Velda Beaman, Grimsby, ON and Faye (Thane) Frizzell, Springfield West, sisters and brothers in law Judy Leard, O’Leary; Ralph MacWilliams, Cornwall; Ray MacWilliams, Fenelon Falls, ON; Linda MacKay (Tom Brown), Beaver Lodge, AB; Kennie (Mary) MacWilliams, Stratford; Larry, Springfield West; Ronnie (Claretta) MacWilliams, West Cape and Ellen (Brian) Locke, Fortune Cove. Donald was predeceased by his parents, son David, sisters Eva Philip, Iva Butcher, Elmira Leard brothers Arnold, Elvin, Emerson, Basil and Hartley. Resting at Ferguson Funeral and Chapel, O’Leary with visiting hours on Saturday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral will be held on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel.
