It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Joey Campbell on January 18, 2017. Born in New Waterford, he was the son of Helen Campbell, the late Rodrick Campbell, Susie Campbell and Brick Campbell. Joey loved the outdoors and fishing, as well as spending time with his children and the joy of his life, granddaughter Zoey.
He is survived by his daughters, Santana, Lindsay and their mother, Anita O’Connell, predeceased by his son Devyn. He is also survived by his granddaughter, Zoey Gilmour; sister, Kelly (John Keeping); brother, Lauchie; aunts, (sister) Dorthey Parr, Susie Bennett; uncle, Russell Bennett as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his grandmother, (sister) Mitt (Tommy) Bennett; aunt, (sister) Kay (Alby) Muise; aunt, Barbara Keeping; aunt, Joanne Bickerton. Cremation has taken place. A chapel service will be held on Monday, January 23, 2017 at 11 a.m. in McLellan Brothers Funeral Home, 3183 Plummer Ave., New Waterford, 902-862-7500.
Burial will be held in Union Grove Cemetery followed by a luncheon at the K.O.C, Plummer Ave, all are welcome. Donations can be made to a charity of one’s choice. To send online condolences, go to: www.mclellanfuneralhome.com.
