Passed peacefully away at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Sunday, January 22, 2017, Frederick Vokey of Shoal Harbour, aged 93 years. Predeceased by his parents Emmanuel and Effie Vokey; sister Alma Maidment. Left with fond and loving memories his wife Mildred of 60 years; children: Thelma Fitzgerald (Terry), Donna Greening (Fraser), Shawn (Jackie), Sharon Vokey, Terry (Julie Stead) and Corinne Vokey; grandchildren: Renee, Danielle, Krystle, Megan, Cory, Charlene, Devan, Jordan, Sheldon, Shane, Hayley, Kyra and Erin; great grandchildren: Autumn, Kate, Bradley, Anderson, Allie, Ben, Hayden, Quinn and Karson; and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Fewer's Funeral Home, Clarenville on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at 2 p.m. from St. Mary's Anglican Church, Clarenville with cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to St. Mary's Anglican Church, Clarenville.
