Passed peacefully away at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Sunday, January 22, 2017, Frederick Vokey of Shoal Harbour, aged 93 years. Predeceased by his parents Emmanuel and Effie Vokey; sister Alma Maidment. Left with fond and loving memories his wife Mildred of 60 years; children Thelma Fitzgerald (Terry), Donna Greening (Fraser), Shawn (Jackie), Sharon Vokey, Terry (Julie Stead) and Corinne Vokey; grandchildren Renee, Danielle, Krystle, Megan, Cory, Charlene, Devan, Jordan, Sheldon, Shane, Hayley, Kyra and Erin; great grandchildren Autumn, Kate, Bradley, Anderson, Allie, Ben, Hayden, Quinn and Karson; and a large circle of family and friends. Rested at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Clarenville. Funeral service took place on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 from St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Clarenville with cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Clarenville.
