DEVILLER, Lorraine Marie – age 83, of the Meadows Home for Special Care, Yarmouth, passed away on January 23rd, 2017 at the Meadows Home for Special Care. Born in Amirault’s Hill on June 10th, 1933, Lorraine was a daughter of the late Edmund and Lucy (Saulnier) Landry. She is survived by her two daughters, Rebecca (Russell) Frotten, Yarmouth and Francine (Darren) Penney, North East Point, and grandchildren, Darren, Tyler and Jewel Penney; brothers, Puis Landry, Sand Beach and Alcide (Betty) Landry, Hebron; best friend, Cheryle Muise, Yarmouth. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank DeViller; sisters, Helen Hipson, Louise Gaudet, and Evelyn Doucette; brothers, Emile, Homer, Eddie, Jules, Ernie, and Augustine and Nelson in infancy. Funeral arrangements were under the care and direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, 29 Albert St., Yarmouth where visitation was from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday with prayers at 8 p.m. A funeral mass was held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 26th from Saint Ambrose Co-Cathedral, Yarmouth, Father Henry Smolenaars officiated. A burial was held in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Yarmouth. Family flowers only.
