Lillian Boutilier-Bugden
With sadness, we, the family of Lillian Blanche Boutilier-Bugden, regret to announce her passing on Tuesday, January 24, 2017, at Harbourstone Enhanced Care, Sydney, at the age of 98. Born May 28, 1918, in Trenton, N. S., she was a daughter of the late Percy and Mary (Bell) Doret.
In 1983, Lillian retired from Crowell’s department store, where she had been employed for 15 years. She was a member of the United Protestant Church of Sydney River and the UCW, as well as the Riverdale Senior’s Club. She is survived by her daughter, Lynn Stack (Greg deceased); stepson, Gordon Bugden (Helena); stepdaughter, Judy Artz (Doug); grandchildren, Lillian Thompson, Shane and Kelly Stack, Bruce and Andrew Bugden, Jennifer and Gregory Artz; seven great-grandchildren and very special niece, Barbara MacLeod (Harvey). Lillian was predeceased by her first husband, Edwin Boutilier; second husband, Fred Bugden; sister, Evelyn Reid; stepson, Bill Boutilier, his wife, Lydia and son, Billie.
