It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beautiful mother, Crena Bryant, 81 on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at the Palliative Care Unit in the Cape Breton Regional Hospital after a 10 year struggle with Alzheimer's. Born in Sydney on July 7, 1935, she was the daughter of Harry and May (Cuff) LeMoine.
Mom was married to her one true love, George Bryant in 1957. Sadly, she became a widow 7 years later when he died in a car accident at the age of 28. Mom was a kind, quiet lady who would always be there for you. We couldn't have asked for a better mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her daughters, Linda Poole and Brenda (Ian) Campbell; her grandsons, Robert (Becky) Poole, Bradley Poole, Jonathan Poole, Adam (Jamie) Campbell (who was like a son to her) and her only granddaughter, Sarah Campbell (Steven Haley). Mom is also survived by her siblings, Vera Snow, Doris (Charles) Weatherby, Harry (Faye) LeMoine, Barb (Jim) Oakley; sister-in-law, Marg LeMoine. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brothers, Fred LeMoine and Doug LeMoine; brother-in-law, Don Snow.
In honoring Mom's wishes there will be no visitation or funeral. Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at a later date.
