Frank Barrett, 86, of Arnolds Cove, passed away on January 27 peacefully in his sleep. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, January 30 at the St. Marks Anglican Church in Baine Harbour. Reverend Robert Peddle will be officiating. Visitation will be held at St Marks Anglican Church, Baine Harbour on the evening of Saturday the 28th and Sunday the 29th of January. The burial will follow the funeral at Baine Harbour Cemetery at 3:00pm. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Fewer's Funeral Home in Clarenville. Frank was born in Tacks Beach on May 5, 1930. Frank was married to Barbara Barrett (Bailey) on July 29, 1957; they were married 60 years. Frank worked as a Custodial worker at a the Golden Years Manor in Arnold's for more than 21 years. He enjoyed visiting his summer cabin in Tacks Beach, sharing stories, the outdoors with his boys, walks in the woods and was dearly devoted to his wife and family. Frank is survived by his loving and devoted wife Barbara, his three children, Lindsay (Janice), John (Nicole)and Frank (Lori); his 5 grandchildren Devin, Nadine, Kayla, Sonia and Ashley; his brother Maxwell, his 3 sisters Blanche, Annie (Ernest) and Marie; his nieces and nephews and the rest of his family and friends. Frank is preceded in death by his daughter Linda, his parents, John and Alice Barrett; as well as his sister, Bessie and brother Charles. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the St. Mark's Anglican Church, Baine Harbour, through Barbara Barrett (P.O.Box 95, Arnold's Cove, A0B 1A0). Frank's family wishes to thank the his Personal Home Care workers, Renee Snook (Sunnyside), Violet Romaine (Clarenville) and Jeannie Hobbs (Arnold's Cove) for their compassion, friendship and tender loving care. As well, a special thanks to Dr. O'Riley, Public Health Nurse Joyce Toma, The Fewer's Funeral Home in Clarenville and St. Marks Anglican Church in Baine Harbour.
