The death occurred at Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, New Brunswick, on Monday, January, 30, 2017, of William Gallant, son of the late Angus and Lucy (Doucette) Gallant, of Rosewood Residence and formerly of Rusticoville, aged 84. William is survived by his sister, Anna Gallant; nieces, Catherine St. George, Janet Shoemaker (Andy) and Maureen O’Sullivan (Robert); nephews, Mike Mossey (Koreen) and Mark Mossey; half niece, Velda Bradley; and half nephews, Norman Noye (Marion), Leo Gallant (Donna); and their families. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his sister, Frances Mossey (Vincent); his half sister, Gertrude Noye (Louis); and half brother, Alfred Gallant (Adeline). Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, 2538 Glasgow Road, New Glasgow, for visitation on Friday, February 3, 2017, from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Augustine’s Roman Catholic Church, Rustico, on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. Interment later in St. Augustine’s Cemetery.
