Passed peacefully away at Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre, Burin, NL on Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2017, PATRICIA LILLIAN GRANDY of Garnish, NL, in her 65th year. Leaving to mourn her loving husband Ray, Garnish, her son Travis (Beverley), Garnish, daughter Sandra Vallis (Jason), Conception Bay South, NL; grandchildren Samantha Vallis, Owen Grandy and Gracie Grandy; brothers Levi Hodder (Beth), North Sydney, NS, Max Hodder (Jane), Creston South, Robert Hodder (Irene), Salmonier, Randy Hodder, (Bonnie), Burin, sisters Madeline Broydell, Burin Bay Arm, Ettie Jean Taylor (Alvin), Burin, Mary Mayo, Marystown, Faye Banfield (Cedric), Garnish; and a large circle of relatives and friends.
Patricia is predeceased by her parents Samuel and Alice Hodder, brothers Kenneth, Thomas and Samuel Jr. and brother in law Edgar Broydell.
Mr. Elmo King conducted the Funeral Service at the Salvation Army Citadel in Garnish, NL, on Friday, February 03rd, 2017 at 2:00 pm.
At Patricia’s request, cremation has taken place.
Donations in Patricia’s memory may be made to the family for a future donation of a piece of equipment for the Garnish playground in her memory.
