It is with great sadness that the family of the late Garland William White announce his passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville on Monday February 6th, 2017 at the age of 85 years. He will be sadly missed by one son Gary White (Gwen), two daughters Eileen White, Pauline White (Beth), his granddaughters Jennifer White, Holly White, great-granddaughter Téa Kendall, his brothers Hollie White and Bob White and his sisters Joan Frampton, Monica Jennings. Also leaving to mourn his fur baby "Sadie" who was his best friend and a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Geneva White, his parents Herbert and Joyce White, his brother Byron White and his sister Neatha White. Visitation will take place on Tuesday February 7th and Wednesday February 8th from 2-4 and 7-9 from Russell's Funeral Home in Stephenville. Funeral service will take place on Thursday February 9th at 2 p.m. from the First United Church, St. Claire Avenue with interment to follow at Hillside Interfaith Cemetery on the Hansen Highway.
