FROESE, Henry (Hank)

Hank beloved husband of Jeanne Froese of Calgary, AB, went home to be with the Lord on February 6, 2017 at the age of 89 years.

Hank was a Saskatchewan farm boy; he moved to Calgary in his mid-twenties and started his plumbing trade. He moved into a boarding house where he met the love of his life Jeanne. They raised their family in Calgary; Hank being a hard worker was able to operate a successful plumbing business that his son Terry is running to this day. Hank had a great love for the outdoors where you would find him in the garden, hunting, fishing, camping, with his bird dog not far behind. Family was very important to Hank; his children and grandchildren brought much joy and laughter into his life. He was also known for his quirky jokes and sense of humour. Hank’s faith was an integral part of his life; Jeanne and Hank enjoyed working with young people and they maintained relationships with them throughout their lives. Hank was a role model and mentor to his family, people he worked with and many community organizations.
Hank is survived by his daughter, Holly; two sons and daughter-in-law, Terry and Sharon and Lance. He is survived by six grandchildren, Kailyn, Chantelle, Janessa, Nathaniel, Shailyn and Grace and one great-granddaughter, Ava. He is also survived by a sister Kaye, a brother, Bob and many other relatives and friends.
Hank was predeceased by four sisters and two brothers.
