Peacefully at Andrews of Stratford on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 of Vivian Rebecca MacNeill in her 99th year. Beloved wife of the late J. Alexander “Allie” MacNeill of Summerside. Survived by her children, Gardiner (Dorothea) MacNeill, Stanley Bridge; Nancy (Robert) Ramsay, Stratford and Debra (John) Wilson, Halifax. Proud grandmother of Gardiner Alex (Andrea) MacNeill, Jason MacNeill (Carrie Letorney), Carolyn (Keith) O’Neill, Stephen Ramsay and David (Rebecca) Wilson. Great-grandmother of Jessica Gallant, Jacob and Ali MacNeill, Catherine O’Neill, Adelyn and Emily Wilson, as well special aunt of Helen (William) Stewart, Dartmouth and family. Also survived by nieces, Elaine (Richard) Lee, Lillian (Bruce) Montgomery, Sandra Luke and nephews Tyndall (Anna) Semple, Dale (Louise) Arnett and their families. She was the last surviving member of her family being predeceased by her parents Franklin and Emily (Harding) Marks, brother Gardiner (Jean) Marks, sisters Helen (Tony) Williams and Muriel (George) Semple. Resting at the Belvedere Funeral Home from where the funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. Interment later in People’s Cemetery, Summerside. Visitation Saturday from 4-7 p.m. Family flowers only.
