It is with great sadness that the family of Gertrude Hynes nee Taylor announces her passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, in Corner Brook, NL., on Thursday February 9, 2017 at the age of 84 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Lloyd (Barbara), Shirley (Vaden), Joan (Clayton), Maxine (Gary), Fay (Franklin), Betty, David (Carolann), Dennis (Danielle), Gloria (Brian), Wallace (Nancy), and Tammy (Joe), her daughters-in-law: Gloria, and Nancy, her 30 grandchildren, her 28 great-grandchildren, her 8 great-great-grandchildren, her siblings Dorothy Elliott, Beatrice Ralph and Ida Howell. Gertrude was predeceased by her husband of 66 years Colby, sons: Wayne, Harry, and Harris, her parents: Cyril and Clara Taylor, brothers John Taylor, Lloyd Taylor and Edgar Taylor. Also leaving to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended family and friends. The family will be receiving family and friends from St. Michael's and All Angels Anglican Church in Pollard's Pt., NL. on Friday, February 10, 2017 at 7-9 pm, where the funeral service will take place on Saturday, February 10th, 2017, at 3:00 pm, with the burial to follow at the Church Cemetery in Pollard's Pt., NL. In lieu of flowers the family request that you make a donation to the St. Michael's and All Angels Anglican Church in Pollard's Pt., NL. (General Delivery, Pollard's Point, NL., A0K 4B0.)
