Evelyn Gwendolyn Miles (nee Beck), lately of Pasadena, adored wife of Cecil Miles, passed away peacefully in the arms of her devoted husband after 65 years of marriage on Saturday, February 11th, 2017, at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL, in her 87 year. Born in Corner Brook to the late Thomas and Salome Beck of Humbermouth. Evelyn leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children Ron (Linda) Miles of George's Lake, Sandra Miles-Blaxland, Linda (Dexter) Young, Robert (Trudy) Miles, Ann Miles O'Donnell of Hamilton, ON, Cindy (Jody) Williams and Dale (Nicole) Wells, nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, her brother Robert Beck of Nova Scotia. She was predeceased by her five siblings. She was a loving and attentive mother. She enjoyed her 20 years at George's Lake with Cecil. She loved her Saturday barbecues and homemade wine with all of her family around the fires. The family will be receiving family and friends at The Humber Valley United Church in Pasadena, on Tuesday, February 14th, 2017, from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 pm, where also the Funeral Service will take place from on Wednesday, February 15th, 2017, at 2 pm, with Rev. Dr. Tony Newell officiating and keeping with Evelyn wishes, cremation will follow.
