Passed away suddenly, but peacefully at the Health Sciences Centre surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday, February 12, 2017 age 83 years. Predeceased by her husband, Michael J. (2011); daughter, Mary (2008); and sons Jerome and Keith (1977); Left to celebrate her life with cherished memories are her children, Catherine (Gerald Power), Brenda (Kenneth Noseworthy), Marjorie (David Steele), Carolyn (Douglas Whitten), Michael, Jr. (Beverly Sharpe), Frank (Cavell), Arlene (Michael Rickert) and Philip (Jodie); Precious Nanny to Mark Steele (Mona) and Lisa Steele (Candace); Jennifer Power (Ryan Foley) and Michael Power (Katie); Keith Noseworthy (Christa), Joshua Noseworthy (April) and Joseph Noseworthy; Roger Whitten (Karla) and Kimberly Evans (Barry), Kylie O'Neill (Jordan); Nicole Aylward (Mark) and Michelle Rickert; great-grandnanny to Hailey Whitten, Hayden, Natalie and Emily Noseworthy; Luke Foley, Stella Power; and Noah Evans; Also, leaving her brother, Clarence Jackman; sisters, Susie Quigley (Bob Morris), Mary Rees (Bo), Patricia Drover, Betty Rushton, Angela Keeping (Calvin), and Madeline, along with many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends especially her friends that she has met over the last year at Karwood Retirement Retreat. Cremation has taken place. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 from 12 noon - 9 p.m. A celebration of Stella's life will take place on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at 10 a.m. from St. Peter's Church, Mount Pearl.
