Passed peacefully away at Pleasant View Towers on Monday, February 13, 2017 surrounded by her loving family, Mary Shapter, in her 90th year. Predeceased by her husband, George; parents, John and Isabel McDonald; brothers, Frank (Regina) and Tommy (Marg); sister Kay (Dyke) Earles. Left with fond and loving memories her children: Robert, Frank (Mary), Mary (Ed) Gulliver, Brenda (Brian) Noseworthy, Donna and Ed (Jackie Gentile); grandchildren: Eddie, Keith (Liz), Colleen (Daniel), Kevin (Eileen), Steven (Laura), Heather (Mike), Michael, Brian (Anthony), Colin (Stephanie), Andrew (Chloe), Matthew and Victoria; great-grandchildren: Faith, Aiden, Emma, Jayden and Jayce, sisters: Isabel (Richard - deceased) Morey, Margaret (Charlie - deceased) Tucker, and Helen (Pat) Finn; brothers: Gerry (Dora) and Bren (Jean - deceased); special cousin Len (Rose) McDonald and sister-in-law Margaret Snow, also nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Special thanks to the staff and residents of 4 North East, Pleasant View Towers, for their compassion and care. Visitation at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road, Thursday, February 16, 2017 from 6-9 pm and Friday, February 17, 2017 from 10 am - 9 pm. Funeral Mass at Mary Queen of Peace Church, Torbay Road on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 10 am. Burial to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery, The Boulevard. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory can be made to a charity of ones choice.
