The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown on Saturday, February 11, 2017, of Harold Doucette, beloved husband of Rita, of Villa Marguerite, North Rustico, aged 91. Harold was the stepfather of Sharon Ramsay (John) and stepfather-in-law of Lynn Gallant (Donnie, deceased); grandfather of Chris Harper (Sherri), Shawn Harper (Tara), Kelly Anderson (Glenn), Lance Gallant (Barbie), Corey Gallant (Laura), Bonnie Gairns (Johnny), and Beth and Robyn Gallant; great-grandfather of Lexi, Presley, Beckham, Taylor, Jack, Ethan, Keenan, Salone, Samantha, Coady and Gregory; and great-great-grandfather of Brooklynn. He is also survived by his sister, Theresa; sister-in-law, Edna; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Harold was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Gertrude (Pineau) Doucette; his sister, Evelyn; and his brothers, Reginald and Robert. Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, 2538 Glasgow Road, New Glasgow, for visitation on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Augustine’s Roman Catholic Church, Rustico, on SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 18, 2017 AT 10:30 A.M.
