Richard "Ricky" Joseph DesRoches
The death occurred at his late residence on Monday, February 13th, 2017 of Richard “Ricky” Joseph DesRoches of Kensington and formerly of Summerside, P.E.I., aged 49 years. Ricky was born in O’Leary, P.E.I. to his father Clifford (Nancy) DesRoches and his mother, the late Elizabeth (nee Thibideau) DesRoches. Beloved partner of Marilee Fry and step-father to Jesse and Zysiah Fry. Survived by his brother Carl (Lori) of Kensington, his sister Lisa DesRoches (Eddie Shaw) of Summerside, his nephews Alec DesRoches and Mitchell Rogers, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Besides his mother, Ricky was predeceased by his brother Jonathan DesRoches, his grandparents Jerry and Annie DesRoches and Carl and Elizabeth Thibideau, and his nephew Dylan Champion. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Saturday, February 18th, then to St. Paul’s Church, Summerside for a funeral mass at 2 p.m. Interment to take place in St. Paul’s Cemetery at a later date. Visiting hours on Friday, from 5 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Ricky’s memory to the Funeral Trust Fund would be greatly appreciated.
