Passed away suddenly but peacefully on February 13, 2017, at the Health Science Centre, Greg Halley age 56 years after a lengthy and courageous battle with illness. Predeceased by his parents Barbara and Jim Halley, brother Gerry Halley, mother & father-in-law Bessy and Frank Brocklehurst and sister-in-law Linda Neary. Leaving to mourn with wonderful memories, his best friend and wife of 30 years, Geraldine and their three children, Stephen (Raquel), James (Tiffany) and Amanda. Greg will always be remembered by his brothers: Wayne (Virginia), Brian (Tara); sisters: Sharon (John Fardy), Lynn (Dave Pierce); uncle Paul Perry; sisters-in-law: Kathryn Halley, Helen (Vince Manning), Debbie (Harold Quann), Ann (Mark Lush), and Kelly (Hank Matthews); brothers-in-law: Francis Neary, Charlie Brocklehurst (Linda), Mike Brocklehurst (Millie), Frank Brocklehurst (Joan), Tony Brocklehurst and Craig Brocklehurst (Kellie), as well as a large number of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Special thank you to Dr. Mike Furey, Dr. Paul Skirving and the nurses in the Ambulatory Dept. at HSC for their exceptional care and compassion while looking after Greg during his illness. Cremation has taken place. Visitation to be held at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Friday, February 17, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, February 18 at 10:30 am from Caul's Chapel. Inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
