Glendon Lawrence Cameron

At the Provincial Palliative Care Centre on Sunday, February 12, Glendon Lawrence Cameron of Georgetown Royalty, PE and Dade City, Florida, passed away peacefully at the age of 81. Glen is survived by his wife of 55 years, Marjorie (Kaulbach), and daughters Karen (Jon) Kirschbaum, Jonesborough, Tennessee, and Glenda McInnis (Cyril Arsenault), Stratford, PE. He is lovingly remembered by grandchildren: Reghan McInnis; Jenna Baird (Adam); Connor McInnis; great grandson, Oliver Baird; and son-in-law, Phillip McInnis. Glen leaves behind in-laws: Norma Cameron, Geraldine Cameron, Pearl Cameron, Lyall and Shirley Kaulbach, Avis and George Fox, Lena and Ron Cameron, Isabel Glover (all originally from Nova Scotia), & Dawn and Glen Martell, Georgetown, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Glen was predeceased by his parents, John and Charlotte (Burris) Cameron, and siblings Ervin, Chester (Edna), Alma (Randall) Matthews, Curtis, Byron, & Bill all originally from Urbania, Nova Scotia. He was also predeceased by parents-in-law, Hugh and Beatrice Kaulbach, Middle Musquodoboit, NS, and brother-in-law, Neville Glover, Milford, NS. Glen spent his working years with the Halifax, Bathurst, and Georgetown shipyards, and he enjoyed his leisure time with many friends in bowling leagues, card plays, and shuffleboard games. Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with visiting hours on Friday, February 17, from 4 to 7 p.m. Funeral Service to be held in the Funeral Home Chapel Saturday, February 18 at 11 a.m. Interment at a later date.
