Pidgeon, John Christopher “Pidge” – 61, Truro, passed away suddenly on February 15, 2017 in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Toronto, ON, he was the son of the late John and Alma (Woolley) Pidgeon. John was a very kind and positive individual. He loved working on cars. He will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife, Karen (Rankin); children, Nicholas (Katie Patton), Cory (Krissi McNutt), Chantelle (Cory Mcguigan), all of Halifax; Rick and Dillon, both of Truro; sisters, Judy (Tom Hendricks), Kathy (Randy Cameron), Jennet; nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by brothers, Joel Frederick, Joel Edward and his twin brother at birth. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 21 from 1-2 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Life service at 2 p.m., all in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro with Rev. Lori Ramsey officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada or charity of choice.
